Collaborative Automation Partner Program News

First presentation of Solution Approach for Collaborative Automation partners at Initi@tive Nice

27 Collaborative Automation Partners (including; Acksys, ACT’L, Anyware Technologies, Bihl & Wiedemann, connectBlue, Data-Linc, ECT, Eplan, Erco&Gener, Hilscher, Hirschmann, HMS, IGE-XAO, Kuka, MDT software, Mynah Technologies, Niobrara, OSIsoft, Phoenix Digital, Prosoft Technology, SDProget, Spectrum Controls, TNI software, Vishay, Weed Instrument, Westermo and Woodhead) had the opportunity to demonstrate their Collaborative Automation solutions to European Schneider Electric customers.
  • Initi@tive Nice was the first of a new series of Initi@tive events based on the new solution approach from Schneider Electric. This was another great opportunity for our Collaborative Automation partners to demonstrate how their products and services are fully part of our automation solutions.

Several partners were represented directly on several Schneider Electric solution booths (Automotive, Water, Food & Beverage, Quantum Hot Stand By, Simple Machines, Compact Machines, Distributed Machines) to show how their products could complete the specific solutions presented.

The other partners were grouped together on five different booths. Each booth was focusing on a specific theme (“Productivity in Design”, “Application Lifecycle Management”, “Remote Control”, “Architecture extension”, “Reliable Networks”) with different partners demonstrating how their products could answer the specific requirements related to each theme.

Our partners had the chance to meet over 4000 customers coming from all over Europe and North Africa, as well as Schneider Sales and Marketing Managers from those countries.
A complete program of partner conferences was also held during the week where they had the chance to explain in more detail the benefits of their solutions.
  • Reporting from the Initi@tive event:
Schneider Electric welcomes in Nice: 4,000 European customers to present the last innovations in energy efficiency and productive automation.

Held at the Acropolis convention center in Nice from January 30th to February 2nd , the show featured 120 conferences, 16 demonstrations and 80 booths, supported by 300 Schneider Electric experts and 60 Collaborative Automation partners, in a 9,500 square-meter venue, with presentations in ten different languages.

The show addressed a wide range of issues, from cost management, performance optimization, safety and changes due to communication technologies to infrastructure design, preferred implementations and embedded intelligence.

In Automation, Schneider Electric’s solutions were shown how they deliver even more flexibility thanks to a new generation of intelligent automation devices. The company has devised a specific approach to help customers adapt tested and validated preferred implementations to their specific needs and applications. Overall, 11 Preferred Implementations are now available.

  • Conclusion:
This participation to the new Initi@tive format is a significant step forward in our Collaborative Automation program. By presenting together our solutions, with customers, partners and Schneider Electric in a single place such as Initi@tive, we continue to promote the importance of such a collaboration, the power of our best-in-class solutions, and how it can meet the needs of our customers.
