20 Collaborative Automation Partners (including: Acksys, AVG, Bentley Systems, Data-Linc, ECT International, Eplan, Hirschmann, HMS Industrial
Networks, Integrated Industrial Technologies , MDT Software, Niobrara Research & Development, OSIsoft, Phoenix Digital, Prosoft Technology, Spectrum Controls,
Vishay Nobel, Weed Instrument, and Westermo) arrived in Las Vegas for the chance to demonstrate their Collaborative Automation solutions to many Schneider
Electric customers from the USA, Canada and Mexico.
- Only the second time an Initi@tive event has been hosted in the USA, this show was labeled a “very productive show” by one of our more
experienced CAPP partner companies.
More than 1,400 Schneider Electric North American Operating Division customers and distributors packed the Mandalay Bay Resort and
Casino to see the multi-industry trade exposition, and to examine the solution content from Schneider Electric and from our CAPP automation partners.
The show was composed of more than 100 professional development seminars and 100,000 square feet of solutions displays and exhibits.
It was another great opportunity for many of our Collaborative Automation partners to present and demonstrate their products, services and solution capabilities to
customers coming from western USA, from Canada and from Mexico.
- The event was also a good chance for our partners to meet Schneider Electric sales and channel representatives from those countries, to get to know each
other better, to discuss new common business opportunities in the zone, and to brainstorm joint business development ideas for the future.
- A CAPP automation seminar was presented by one of ourpartners, ePLAN, a session delivered hand-in-hand with a Schneider management representative
from the Innovation Center in Raleigh. Together, ePLAN and Schneider examined the design automation subject, including the combined, collective capabilities of
both companies.
- The partner booths were frequently filled with customers during the two days. These customers arrived very much interested in the products and solutions
demonstrated by local partner representatives. One CAPP partner commented, “Judged by the contacts with customers and the contacts with the people of
Schneider Electric, this show was easily the best automation trade show I have ever attended!"
