First Initi@tive in India with Collaborative Automation Partners
|
10 Collaborative Automation Partners (including; Acksys, Data-Linc, ECT International, Eplan, Hilscher, Hirschmann, Prosoft Technology, Vishay, Westermo and Weed Instruments)
were invited to present how their products contribute to the new Schneider Electric Solution approach.
From September 11th to September 14th 2007, Schneider Electric welcomed 3,400 Indian customers, business partners, and media from all trades and professions at its international road
show - Initi@tive 2007, at the Hyderabad International Convention Center (HICC) in Hyderabad, capital of Andhra Pradesh Province in South India.
This year, after Nice for Europe in January, Dubai for Oil & Gas market in February and Chengdu for China in April, it was the fourth showcase to let customers discover our
solutions around two topics at the Center of the New Electric World:
> Energy Efficiency – Schneider Electric India has launched this program in the country, showing how to optimize energy costs - with savings of 10% to 30%, and how to
make energy even more reliable and available.
> Automation Everywhere – Schneider Electric has shown how to deliver more flexibility and real-time control, in all markets, thanks to a new generation of intelligent
automation devices.
Thanks to the great success of this event, Schneider Electric’s image in India has changed dramatically. From the booths to the technical seminars, from the opening ceremony to
the gala dinner, the innovation and technology displayed as well as the sheer magnitude of the event were eye-openers to our customers.
Our Collaborative Automation partners could take an important part in this success, presenting on their booths their products, demonstrating how they are complementary to Schneider
Electric’s offer as part of the automation solutions our customers are requesting.
Covering a wide range of domains such as Electrical CAD, Networks, Wireless solutions, Fiber Optic or Weighing systems, our partners could meet many customers, get many interesting
contacts with end-users, system integrators and distributors that should lead to an increased business in India in a near future.
Some figures of the event:
> 230 Schneider Electric experts
> 10 partner companies
> 55 unique conferences and demonstrations
> 11,600 conference sessions attended by individual customers
> 75 booths
> 1 cybercafé
> 10,000 square-meter venue
Partners’ comments:
“Thanks for your hospitality and support as host. We had a great time in India and found the event especially interesting. This is my first experience with Schneider and I got a
very good impression and understanding of your strategy. Looking at your focus points for the future I am sure there is a big potential for both companies in this
partnership.”
“Thanks a lot for your support and congratulation on your successful events. We are looking forward for the upcoming events from your organization.”
“I return my thanks to the Initi@tive organization team for the very good organization of the event itself and also for the openness of the SE team. Both contributed to make us
meeting with some very interesting Indian customers.”
