Collaborative Automation Partner Program News

Another great success for Collaborative Automation partners at Initi@tive Bangkok

10 Collaborative Automation Partners (including; Arc Informatique, Areal, Citect, Data-Linc>, ECT International, Eplan, HIMA, Hirschmann, IGE-XAO and Prosoft Technology) had the opportunity to demonstrate their Collaborative Automation solutions to South East Asia Schneider Electric customers.

Initi@tive Bangkok was another very good opportunity for some of our Collaborative Automation partner companies to present and demonstrate their products, services and solutions to more than 1500 customers coming from Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Japan, Korea, India, Taiwan, Hongkong, China and Australia; and also to the Schneider Electric sales channel representatives.

It was the first chance to expose our Collaborative Automation Partner Program to the management of the South East Asia (SEA) zone, and to organize dedicated meetings between the Schneider Electric representatives and our partners. Many interesting business opportunities were discussed with the attendants in various domains such as Water Treatment, Food & Beverage, Infrastructure or Building Automation.

Reporting from the Initi@tive event:

Schneider Electric has selected Royal Thai Navy Convention Hall as the venue for South East Asia Initi@tive Thailand 2005 event.

Royal Thai Navy Convention Hall is located along the banks of Chao Praya, often known as “La Seine of Asia”. This convention hall has also hosted the reputable APEC summit in 2002, with the presence of world-known leaders.

This event has hosted around 1,500 customers and students from Asia Pacific, majority within the South East Asia region.

Similar to Seville and Istanbul, Bangkok 2005 offered 40 seminars and conferences on solutions, services, the latest product launch news for Automation & Control and Electrical Distribution customer testimonials, environment and standards, architecture and networks.

In addition, a large exhibition space (located on the second floor) was available to present our Schneider products as well as our Collaborative Automation partners offers on 70 booths.

During the Gala Diner on Tuesday the 6th, the Princess of Thailand honored all the participants with her royal presence and Russell Stocker, Schneider Electric Executive Vice-President for the Asia-Pacific Zone, expressed his deep gratefulness on behalf of all the guests.
