Successful Validation for our software partner Eplan

We are very pleased to announce the successful validation of the integration between Schneider Electric’s Unity Pro and Eplan P8, the new version of the Electrical CAD tool from Eplan, the German leader of the electrical engineering software.

Two weeks ago, Eplan and Schneider Electric completed the test of the solution based on the integration between Unity Pro and Eplan P8 in the Schneider Electric’s laboratory in Sophia-Antipolis, France.



This common solution minimizes the design time through a bi-directional exchange of data, which also improves the consistency of the information shared between both tools.

It will be enhanced in a next release of Eplan P8 with an automatic generation of the electrical schematics, as well as the integration of the Schneider Electric devices and components library.

As part of the Collaborative Automation Partner Program, this new solution has been presented at SPS / IPC / Drives 2007 Nuremberg.
